Storm on the Horizon for the United States
I fly the storm warning flags to alert you to a very dangerous situation facing us from within, from our own government. The current administration under Barak Obama has been busy exacting an extremely liberal agenda that has ominous implications for Christians and other folks living in the U.S. and that affect the future of our nation and of its principles.
The Biblical scriptures instruct us to seek wisdom and to spend time in prayer with our God, who probably is not the same god that these liberals and religious bigots worship. Be more discerning not only of the times in which we live, but of right and wrong, good and evil. These people represent the forces of evil. The following information is typical of what is happening, and all of this not subject to the scruitiny by our Congress. These are "czars" over their domain, and work directly for the White House, not Congress.
You can't hire from the White House and implant in a position of authority a person of very questionable moral values like a Kevin Jennings to be the chief over all "safe education" when he is noted as the leading advocate of homosexuality and lesbianism and promotes "safe sex" to grade school children with kits of how to perform sex without the potential for contracting HIV. On May 19, 2009, Obama administration Secretary of Education Arne Duncan announced Jennings' appointment as an Assistant Deputy Secretary for the Office of Safe and Drug-Free Schools,[ starting July 6, 2009 as the third director of the office, which was established in 2002 during the George W. Bush administration pursuant to the Safe and Drug-Free Schools and Communities Act part of the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001 Social conservatives criticized Jennings' appointment, and are actively working to have him removed from his position, because of allegations that Jennings condoned child molestation and because of sexually explicit books that were recommended by his organization.] Critics claim that these books reflect upon Jennings' beliefs, a charge that has been strongly denied by his backers. Critics of Jennings’ appointment also pointed to his alleged admissions of past drug use and his alleged 2000 public statement indicating that members of the religious right should “drop dead.”
Few Obama administration appointments have been as startling as Education Secretary Arne Duncan’s appointment of Kevin Jennings, the homosexual founder of the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN), to head the Office of Safe and Drug-Free Schools.
Jennings was undoubtedly chosen for this post (which does not require Senate confirmation) because the foundation of the homosexual education agenda is the concept of “safe schools.” However, “safe schools” as GLSEN defines them are like “hate crime laws” for kids. GLSEN’s model legislation would create protected categories like “sex, gender, . . . sexual orientation, [and] gender identity or expression.” (Ironically, they don’t include protection for the factor that GLSEN’s own research shows is the most common reason for harassment of students -- “the way they look or their body size.”) Everyone opposes violence, name-calling, and other forms of bullying. As with “hate crimes,” though, GLSEN’s “safe schools” do not protect everyone equally, but instead single out homosexuals for more protection than others.
We must be aware of these terrible things that are happening. You can't, no matter if you are a Christian or not, bury your head in the sand and pretend any longer that they are not happening. Wake up, America, or the America you have known and loved will be gone.
